Overview
Our management team is led by David Norgrove, former Chairman of The Pensions Regulator, who is the Chairman of Long Acre Life.
David is supported by an experienced team from insurance, pensions, asset management and capital markets.
With the DB market now clearly focussed on the 'end-game', in Long Acre Life we have designed an approach which delivers the certainty of an insurance buy-in or buyout for trustees and a unique value proposition for sponsors and their shareholders.

Chairman
David was appointed Chairman of PensionsFirst Group in July 2011 to lead the company in the next stage of its campaign to change the way the defined benefit (DB) pensions industry measures and manages risk. David - previously Chairman of The Pensions Regulator from its inception in January 2005 until December 2010 - will oversee PensionsFirst's continuing push to establish market leadership in pension analytics and will be the Chairman of Long Acre Life.
David is currently Chairman of the Low Pay Commission, the Family Justice Review Panel and Deputy Chairman of the British Museum. Prior to this, he spent 16 years with Marks & Spencer in various roles and was one of five Executive Directors that planned, communicated and led the company's turnaround between 2000 and 2002. He went on to be appointed Executive Director for clothing and international business, responsible for sales of £4 billion, and was appointed Chairman of the M&S Pension Scheme. David began his career as an economist at the Treasury before becoming Private Secretary to the then Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.

David joined PensionsFirst in December 2010 and will assume the role of Chief Executive for the UK insurance business. David is responsible for implementing the strategic goals of the business and leading the senior management team. He brings nearly 30 years' experience in the Life and Reinsurance sectors and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
Former Managing Director and Risk Director of Pearl Assurance, London Life and NPI, CEO of Scottish Re Limited and CEO of Swiss Re Life and Health Australia Limited, David has successfully led teams in a number of countries, involving start-ups, turnarounds and acquisition integrations.
Paul Bradshaw
Non-executive director (Designate)
With a career spanning over 30 years in financial services, Paul has run a number of businesses including Skandia Life Assurance, Scottish Amicable and latterly Abbey's insurance and asset management operations.
Paul is the Chairman of Nucleus Financial Group, and Non-Executive Director of Sanlam UK, Sanlam Life and Pensions, Sanlam Private Wealth and Principal Investments. A qualified actuary, he is married with two grown-up children and lives in the UK.
